OK, the only thing that seems to be on the horizon this month is rain, rain, and more rain. With attendant gales.. We seem to have used up all our social events for the year, and theres not a lot going on now till after January.. Check back here for any updates..

Road closures coming up...Be aware that some major roadworks are going to be happening during December/January, including the SH1/SH2 intersection, Victoria tunnel and SH1 vicinity, and alternative side lanes of the harbour bridge. If you are planning to travel over this period, check out the road closure times, these are usually advertised in the Herald. You can also find them at www.aucklandtransport.govt.nz/moving
There is marine construction work going on approx. 50 meters North of Fergussen container terminal. There is a "no Go" area from 50 meters North of the end of the wharfe back to the end of the wharfe. Please keep clear of the dredger, barges and these activities by at least 250 meters for safety reasons.
Further info may be obtained from either Coast guard or the harbourmaster.
